Bredbury Hall Hotel and Country Club, the iconic Stockport venue, has appointed a new management team as it begins a new chapter in its history.
The historic hotel has also unveiled its new look following the completion of the first phase of renovations.

The Bredbury team will be led by the new general manager, Mark McMenamy, who has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and previously worked for Whitbread PLC, specialising in refurbishments and new openings. Meanwhile Paul Whitfield has joined as head chef from the renowned Park Hall Hotel. Paul has developed a new range of menus focusing on modern British cooking using locally sourced produce, including an exciting selection of freshly made desserts.

The renovation work has created a new open plan lounge area which provides a meeting place for business, social and family events, with the new Brasserie Bar offering all-day dining. There is also a new look for Bredbury Hall’s renowned nightclub which now has a Moroccan-themed cocktail bar and a new VIP lounge.

The changes follow Bredbury Hall’s acquisition by Newco Ventures Limited in June this year. The second phase of renovations will start in January 2016 and will include a revamp of the main restaurant and the hotel’s 147 bedrooms.

Mark Chambers of Onecall Hospitality, the hotel management specialist operating Bredbury Hall on behalf of Newco Ventures, said: “Bredbury Hall is one of the North West’s best known venues and is now beginning a new chapter in its history. With its strategic location on the motorway network close to the airport, it will continue to attract a national and international clientele. However we also want it to be at the heart of the community, as a meeting place for local people and a leading venue for business events.”
