A new boutique hotel from Kro Hospitality, is set to open Friday 18th August within the Grade-II listed Lancashire House, a former shipping warehouse located at 47 Peter Street, Manchester.

Forty-Seven promises intelligent luxury for those who appreciate statement and style while they sojourn, with rooms specially designed to offer the perfect night’s sleep.

Inside, a bold interior design scheme features rich patterns and textures which juxtapose the architectural heritage of the building, while also giving a playful nod to the iconic location of the hotel; 47 Peter Street.

With everything on its doorstep (such as theatres, nightlife, shops and Manchester Central Convention Centre), Forty-Seven is set in the heart of the bustling city, providing guests with the ultimate base for making forty-seven memories in Manchester.

The boutique hotel will boast a total of 32 bedrooms – including 13 suites within a range of 1 and 2-bedroom duplexes and signature suites.

Each high-end bedroom and suite has been artfully curated with sleep and relaxation in mind. From design to decoration, the spaces have been crafted as the ideal environment for getting the best possible night’s sleep – because, after all, catching ‘Forty-Seven’ winks is better than catching forty.

Working exclusively with Forty-Seven, the hotel has appointed its very own ‘Sleep Fixer’, who will ensure that every guest’s sleeping experience is as exquisite as their waking.

In order to create quintessential sleeping conditions, a comforting colour palette washes the walls and ceilings, as secondary-glazed windows are fitted with blackout blinds and curtains.

Premium linens and vegan bedding sweep beds that are dressed with a range of pillows, accompanied by a luxury pillow menu, so that guests can select the perfect support for their own unique sleeping preferences.

Along with carefully-considered room acoustics, Bluetooth speakers are available to play sleep podcasts and white noise, while mood lighting is installed to create the ideal ambience.

In the bathrooms, guests are invited to unwind and relax with naturally calming fragrances, nourishing body care and skin-softening moisturisers from L’Occitane.

Downstairs, Asha’s Restaurant champions authentic Indian food and culinary innovation. Among a number of highly reputable accolades, Asha’s Manchester is ‘Michelin Guide Listed’, was included in ‘The Times’ Top 14 Restaurants in the UK’ and won ‘Best of Manchester’ in the 2023 Nation’s Curry Awards.

On the lower ground, discover The Peterman, the hotel’s cosy cocktail lounge. Here, guests and city-dwellers alike are invited to unlock hand-crafted signature cocktails, as each concoction reveals its own secret tale that derives inspiration from some of Manchester’s most-loved locations.
