Police searching for missing Sophie Lambert in the Harrogate area of North Yorkshire have confirmed a body has been found in the River Nidd near Nidd Gorge on Wednesday morning.
Police say it is too early to confirm the identity, but Sophie’s family have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Sophie went missing from her home in Starbeck, Harrogate, on Friday 16 June and personal possessions were found by a member of the public the day after she went missing.
