Motley, the restaurant and bar located inside YOTEL Manchester Deansgate, is officially recruiting for a very unusual role: the city’s first Dog Food Critic.

The new appointment comes as the chefs at Motley have created a tried-and-tested menu that’s sure to get tails wagging across Manchester. Dogs can tuck into pork sausage, shredded chicken or beef meatballs, smothered in a gravy that even the harshest four-legged critics will lap up. The plates are presented so enticingly that even the dog owners will be salivating.

Applications are simple. Owners can send in a photo of their dog via Motley’s Instagram DMs. Every pooch that applies will be invited to sample the new dishes, and their humans can enjoy a discounted meal alongside them.

Applications are live as of 25th September and will run for two weeks giving Manchester’s dogs plenty of time to apply and prove their credentials as a doggy food critic.

David Seed, General Manager at Motley said:  “We’re proud to be a dog friendly venue & want to give pet owners in Manchester somewhere for a tasty meal out that even their dogs can enjoy. Crafted by our head chef with plenty of input (and taste-testing) from bear (His cockapoo). Now it’s over to Manchester’s pups to try it out and let us know what they think”

Motley expects plenty of entries from across the city. For dog owners, it’s a chance to get involved in something playful and unique and for one lucky pup, it could mean claiming the title of Manchester’s first ever official doggy food critic. Remember to apply on behalf of your pup through Motley’s Instagram DM.
