MOTLEY Manchester and local brand Didsbury Gin have teamed up for the brand’s first Summer Gin Terrace in the UK, with Didsbury set to take over MOTLEY’s iconic terrace at YOTEL Manchester Deansgate this summer.
Using 100% natural fruit-infused, hand-distilled gin, Didsbury will serve up perfect summer tipples in MOTLEY’s decked out terrace. The terrace will feature floral displays, beanbags, and deck chairs, ensuring MOTLEY is the place to be for gin lovers this summer in Manchester, with the UK’s first Didsbury Gin terrace.
Located on the ground floor of YOTEL Manchester Deansgate, MOTLEY and Didsbury have combined to create a gin-lovers’ paradise, serving up everything from the city’s very own Manchester Spritz, to delectable cocktails like Bramble Spritz, Strawberry Collins and even ready to drink, canned cocktails including Strawberry & Sicilian Lemon G&T or the brand’s zesty but sweet Tutti Frutti Gin Fizz.
Launching from 5 May until the end of summer, Didsbury Gin’s first UK pop-up at MOTLEY Manchester comes just in time for those late summer evenings in the city sunshine, simply calling out for a refreshing gin cocktail. Supporting a locally loved brand with this summer’s activation, MOTLEY Manchester will serve up a selection of Didsbury’s refreshing spritzes and cocktails.
Created in 2017 by Manchester gin-thusiasts Mark Smallwood and Liam Manton, Didsbury Gin is brewed and distilled in the city using only natural ingredients, ensuring customers can support local and feel good about their choice of cocktail.
Using ethically sourced, quality ingredients, Didsbury’s unique blend of botanicals is apparent in their serves including ‘Manchester Spritz’, featuring the brand’s limited edition Manchester Tart gin, inspired by the classic Mancunian dessert with a burst of raspberry, velvet vanilla and a subtle hint of coconut.
To transport themselves to a sun-drenched European terrace, MOTLEY’s customers can try out Didsbury’s selection of spritzes from Bramble to Raspberry & Elderflower or for a juicy hint of summer, sip on a selection of canned cocktails including Blood Orange & Ginger G&T and Strawberry & Sicilian Lemon G&T.
From the production of a small batch of gin in Liam Manton’s front room, Didsbury have gone on to supply some of Manchester’s biggest events in 2021 including Neighbourhood Weekender and Manchester Pride. Now, the brand will pop-up at MOTLEY, bringing their vegan friendly gin to the masses with summer serves on the menu and terrace activity including deck chairs, beanbags, deck chairs and floral displays.
