Morris Homes is hosting a series of ‘part exchange’ events for prospective homeowners at select developments across the North.
The national housebuilder is opening its doors to home seekers on 14 and 15 March across four of its developments: Greenmount Manor in Bury, St Mary’s Park in Preston, Rivington Park in Bolton, and The Meadow in Macclesfield.
The event forms part of Morris Homes’ wider plans to connect with individuals and families across the North of England to share the benefits of its part-exchange buying scheme.
One of several buying schemes available, the initiative removes the hassle of having to sell a property to purchase a new home in one of Morris Homes’ residential communities.
The agreement sees the housebuilder offer to purchase a buyer’s existing property for its market value, enabling people to trade in existing properties as part-payment for a new home.
It also offers prospective buyers the chance to save thousands when upgrading from their current home, with modern-day features, such as solar panels, energy efficient systems, and home upgrades, included within the developer’s properties, saving homebuyers thousands.
This could lead to savings up to £36K at Rivington Park, £35K at Greenmount Manor, £28K at The Meadow, and £21K at St Mary’s Park.
Attendees at the events will receive advice from property and mortgage experts to understand the nuances around part-exchanging a property and find a tailored solution that makes purchasing a new build home easier and more accessible.
Visitors will also have the chance to explore the contemporary new build properties, which provide modern living in well-connected and sought-after locations.
With a range of house sizes available, the four developments chosen offer something for everyone, from young professionals to growing families across Lancashire, Cheshire and beyond.
Rachel MacCutchan, Sales Director at Morris Homes, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming prospective buyers onto our developments this weekend. I’d urge everybody considering making a move to these vibrant Northern towns to come see our developments – the quality of our homes speak for themselves.
“So often, we are witnessing a misconception around the affordability of buying new build properties and we’re committed to tackling this. With initiatives like part-exchange, we are giving people a helping hand to ensure their dream property is attainable.”
The events are free to attend, and appointments can be made at https://www.morrishomes.co.uk/ .
