You may have caught a glimpse of the eclipse or you might have had your view blocked by cloudy skies and you weren’t among the few thousand adventurers have paid astronomical sums to be on the “line of totality” but don’t be left in the dark.

With the next partial eclipse not due until 2026 and the next total in 2090, let Manchester Astronomical Society reveal the secrets of the solar system at Pi: Platform for investigation.


To celebrate one of the most amazing events of the celestial calendar, the Museum of Science and Industry have invited astronomers and star gazers to host a day of all things space.
