Maxim, the legendary frontman of globally acclaimed band The Prodigy, will present an exclusive solo exhibition of his interpretative and bold artwork at Clarendon Fine Art in Manchester on Thursday 2 October. The event offers a rare opportunity for art lovers and music fans to meet the multi-talented artist in person.
Fresh from a triumphant summer of festival appearances, including a show-stopping performance closing Glastonbury’s Other Stage, and with The Prodigy’s 2026 UK tour already sold out, Maxim continues to channel his formidable creative energy into the visual arts.
The exhibition will feature a curated selection of Maxim’s latest artwork, including original paintings and sculptures. His art is known for its deeply personal convergence of the shocking and the gentle, intertwining society’s positive and negative forces. One notable piece, the sculpture Rebel with the Paws, embodies this duality, representing a stand against societal wrongs through the spreading of love.
This highly anticipated, RSVP-only event will showcase his fierce and compelling style, which explores the intricate complexities of the human experience. The exclusive evening will include a drinks reception and music from a live DJ, providing a sophisticated and immersive atmosphere for guests to view the full exhibition and engage with the artist himself.
Talking about his upcoming appearance, Maxim said, “Art allows me to express myself in a totally different way to writing music or playing live. It’s liberating as there’s no such thing as a wrong turn; every unplanned mark or spontaneous splash of colour adds to the story. I’m looking forward to coming to Manchester for the launch and sharing this journey with guests on the night.”
Just some of Maxim’s artwork on show at the exhibition will include the limited edition: Read My Lips – a mesmerising optical illusion; Reborn – a vivid piece that reimagines the butterfly as a symbol of strength, resilience and reinvention; and Armed With Love – a provocative piece that blends defiance with unexpected tenderness.
Fiona Brett, Gallery Manager of Clarendon Fine Art in Manchester, added, “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Maxim to our gallery as he is an artist whose fierce and visionary approach to art challenges, captivates, and inspires. His work explores the intricate dualities of humanity, weaving together the shocking and the gentle, the dark and the hopeful, in a way that is both deeply personal and universally resonant.
“Drawing on his love of the surreal and working across mixed media, he places the unexpected at the heart of each piece, creating artwork that is thought-provoking, emotionally charged, and unforgettable; this exhibition is a rare opportunity to first-hand experience brilliance that is as challenging as it is uplifting – a celebration of creativity that dares to illuminate the triumph of good over adversity.”
