A brand-new ice cream shop, A Few Scoops, will officially launch the highly anticipated General Store MediaCity, offering customers a 100 free scoops of ice cream in celebration.
A Few Scoops specialises in alcohol infused ice-cream, sorbets and ice-pops and will bring its show stopping pink tuk tuk, affectionately known as Jolene to the launch.
Jolene will be parked outside General Store MediaCity on Saturday 1st May from 12-6pm offering 100 free scoops of ice cream. Limited to one per person and whilst stocks last.
Ice cream flavours up for grabs include Espresso Martini, Old Fashioned and Pina Colada (vegan). For sorbets, Peach Bellini and Mojito (both vegan) and non-alcoholic options include coke float ice cream and cherryade sorbet.
A Few Scoops is a born and bred Manchester business, the brainchild of Alanna Atkinson who wanted to create a way to blend her love of ice cream with her favourite tipples. Launching the business in June 2019, the addition of Jolene set Alanna on her way to serving the ice cream of dreams to the city.
Owner and founder of A Few Scoops, Alanna Atkinson said, “When we started A Few Scoops, we knew we didn’t want a standard ice cream van, we wanted something that was different that made everyone whip out their phones to take a photo! We think we’ve achieved this with Jolene and we’re so excited to be at the launch of General Store MediaCity offering out 100 free scoops for customers to enjoy.”
Jolene is also available for private hire for events and parties.
