Superhero fans of all ages are invited to grab their capes and fly to Stockport on Saturday 21st May as the town centre celebrates Comic Con.
Children will be transformed into superheroes for the day at Merseyway, where they can select a cape, mask and cuffs and discover their very own superhero names and powers, before snapping a selfie at the superhero photo station.
Make sure to practise your power moves because superheroes are heading to town! Take part in the nine-location trail across the town centre and spot your favourite superheroes with Totally Stockport, whilst visiting one of the most iconic vehicles in Hollywood movie history, the Batmobile!
See Stockport’s Market Place TRANSFORM before your eyes with Optimus Prime and walk with giant dinosaurs in St Peter’s Jurassic Park.
TV fans can also visit popular 80’s vehicle, The A Team’s 1983 GMC Vandura van, whilst friends of the Doctor can spot the TARDIS and famous enemies, The Daleks.
See if you can feel the force at Merseyway’s Lightsaber Training and visit the Star Wars zone at Redrock with Darth Vader actor, Spencer Wilding from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Comic fans will also be able to meet local comic publishers, artists, and writers and purchase a variety of publications and artwork with Wow Comix at Merseyway.
