The ultimate chicken wing showdown is back. Wing Fest, the world’s largest chicken wing festival, will return to Manchester from Friday 19th to Sunday 21st September 2025, taking place at the city’s historic Victoria Baths.

This year’s festival promises to be the biggest and boldest yet, with over 100,000 drums and flats served across the weekend. As always, the festival will champion independent food traders, showcasing their skills and compete for the coveted titles of Best Buffalo Wing, Best Wild Wing, and Best BBQ Wing, with festival-goers casting their votes to crown the winners.

Guests can expect a seriously saucy line-up, with traders including the award-winning Peck Peck, Derby champions BOA, London’s Latino favourites El Pollote, and crowd-pleasers Jus’ Wingin It – all battling it out for a coveted place in the festival’s legendary Hall of Flame. Alongside the wings, entertainment will feature the infamous Lava Wing Challenge – the UK’s hottest wing competition that has gained a reputation for fiery chaos – and the Flying Goose Wing Eating Competition, where speed and stamina collide in a race to devour as many wings as possible.

This year’s Wing Fest is proudly supported by a sizzling line-up of sponsors. Deliveroo will be dishing out prizes to the winning traders, Beavertown is keeping the beer flowing, and Flying Goose Brand is providing utter sauciness. Entertainment includes live music, axe throwing, bourbon masterclasses, competitions, games and arcades – all best enjoyed with a drum and flat in hand.

Manchester Wing Fest will run across four sessions: Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and evening, and a Sunday afternoon finale.

Tickets are now on sale. Tickets include a Wing Fest signature trucker hat, axe throwing, all entertainment, competitions, and live music.
