Manchester’s Printworks is bringing the ultimate after-party to Manchester Student Social this September as the city’s premier entertainment destination prepares to host a university lip-sync showdown.
Taking place Thursday 28th September at Bierkeller, students will be invited to join team “Geeks & Nerds” or team “Cheerleaders & Jocks”, where they will be able to battle it out on stage on behalf of their team to win hilarious and kick-ass prizes, including cleaning supplies, noodles, studying essentials and even fancy-dress outfits, ready for their next social night out!
Battlers who manage to make their way to the final will also be in with a chance of winning a £250 Printworks gift voucher, while other vouchers will also be up for grabs on the night.
Ready to put battlers in detention for bad performances and reward those who are poppin’ on the mic, the event will be hosted by Printworks’ very own college professor and Manchester compere, Chris Dresden, who will be accompanied on stage by live entertainers, including Printworks cheerleaders and electrifying brass band, Back Chat Brass.
Open from 7pm – 11pm, students will be able to enjoy a variety of special drink offers on the night, including Sex on the Bench, Blue Lagoon and Haus Beer or Cider Steins, all for £6.25 each, and three bottles of VK for £10. To help get the party started, Printworks will also be offering a free J-Bomb, which will be redeemable via the Printworks app with a first round of drinks.
