The Lowry Outlet is preparing for a month of whobilations, as the Whoville Christmas Markets come to town. 

Be transported into a world inspired by “Dr Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical”(on at The Lowry Theatre from 10th December) as The Makers Markets get a makeover suitable for Augustus Maywho.

Producers from across the North West will take up residence outside on the Plaza, where there will be a range artisan food, drinks and gifts available to buy – from Who Puddings including Grinch Macaroons to Roast Who Beast.

Feeling a bit of a Grinch? The fun does not stop at the markets, there are plenty of activities inside the mall to send shoppers away feeling like a holiday cheermeister.

Sending a letter to Santa? The Whoville Post Office is the perfect place for little Cindy-Lou Whos to drop off their letters. Elves will help them decide what they want to ask Father Christmas for and they will post their letter onto the North Pole. They will also be plenty of opportunities to get a great picture too.

The Whoville Present Trail is the ultimate activity to do whilst shopping the Mall. The naughty Grinch has stolen 16 presents and hidden them around the Mall. Who can help to find them all before Christmas day? Collect a map and search high and low to find the Whoville residents’ Christmas gifts.

Bookworms can get Immersed in a world of fiction in the Mount Crumpit reading area, open daily between 10:00– 16:00 there will be a host of great books available for little Who’s who love to read.

The Whoville Christmas Markets will start on Thursday 21 November and run every weekend until Sunday 22 December operating from 10:00 – 19:00 on Saturdays and 1:00 – 17:00 on Sundays. On Thursday 21 and Friday 22 November the markets will be open from 10:00 – 19:00.
