This summer, Manchester is to host its first ever canal side yoga class at New Maker Yards, Middlewood Locks. The FREE classes are being organised by Get Living, who offer homes for rent in this new waterside neighbourhood, providing the space and time for residents and the local community to focus on their wellbeing and socialise with neighbours.

Available to both residents and non-residents, the free one-hour Vinyasa flow class will take place every Monday evening from 6.30pm until 19 August and will be led by renowned Manchester yogi Claudia Mirallegro

Claudia Mirrallegro runs her popular signature sculpt yoga class every Wednesday at Manchester’s Lululemon store and hosts retreats in destinations like Costa Rica. Her Dynamic Vinyasa flow classes are open to all levels and will practise breathing techniques and core strengthening postures to help people relax and refocus their mind.

As the build-to-rent landlord which takes the hassle and stress out of renting with its no fees, no deposits and simplified approach, Get Living promotes health and wellbeing through its neighbourhoods.

A recent survey commissioned by Get Living found that 97% of renters placed their health and well-being as a priority, with 78% believing that living next to water or green spaces, would have a positive affect on their overall mental health.

The canal side yoga class is free to everyone and will run every Monday throughout summer until 19 August from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. The class will meet on Lockside Lane M5 4YP.

Reserve your space via Eventbrite and please bring your own mat.
