Manchester has been ranked as the second slowest city in the U.K. to drive in after London and the 29th slowest in the world

Figures released by the location technology company TomTom for 2023 showed that the 30th November was the worst day for traffic in the City taking 28 minutes and 40 seconds to travel six miles

Their analysis estimates that the annual cost of driving a petrol car during rush air in the City is £545 while motorists wasted 85 hours of their time stuck in traffic while on their daily commute

Manchester was ranked second, followed by Liverpool, Bristol and Edinburgh.
