Manchester based psych-garage band “Wax Head” are set to release their highlight anticipated debut EP titled “Salt Fat Acid Heat” via Sour Grapes Records.

The EP will be celebrated with a performance at the underground Salford venue The White Hotel on November 11th. The EP journeys from dulcet harmonies to ear piercing screeches, melting psychedelia with dwyer-esque punk and dark sabbath-like basslines.

Their label, Manchester based Sour Grapes Records say;

“Wax Head have been one of the most exciting young bands we’ve come across the last couple of years. They launched onto the touring circuit after covid supporting US psych & garage rock greats Frankie & The Witch Fingers, Flatworms and Meatbodies. They’ve tapped into a vein of fuzzy Californian garage punk and with an alternative DIY music ethos, they make up one of a number of exciting young artists changing the face of the cities live circuit”
