A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of modern slavery offences and remains in custody for questioning. Investigations are ongoing.
This arrest comes after an ongoing investigation into modern slavery across Greater Manchester.
Detective Inspector Abigail Thomas from our Serious Crime Division said: “Modern slavery is an appalling crime with no place in our communities – exploiting vulnerable people for profit is unacceptable.
“We encourage anyone who is a victim of this crime or suspect someone they know could be to report it so we can take action.
