A 39 year old man has died after a crash in Leigh in the early hours of this morning
The accident happened just after 3.00am on Wigan Road, close to the junction of Nel Pan Lane.
It is believed that the vehicle, a Nissan, had been travelling eastbound along Wigan Road before colliding with a building.
It is not believed that any other vehicles were involved.
Officers from GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are now investigating and want to establish the circumstances that led up to the fatal incident
