Overnight works on the M60 have overrun this morning and remains shut this morning between between J17 and J14
The motorway was due to reopen at 05:00 but remains closed due to flooding unrelated to the works. that has occurred within the closure.
“The flooding is the result of a local sewage infrastructure malfunction and is unrelated to the planned works.“ says a spokesperson for the Highway’s Agency
