Make up for lost time and raise a glass to the avant-garde world of Ingenious cocktails – the new menu of sensational serves from a Victorian hideaway, The Lost & Found, as it launches its summer menus.

Expert mixologists have been hard at work inventing a range of whimsical blends and brews, aptly named ‘The Professor’s Ingenious Cocktails’.

Serves include the gin-ful Tangled Teapot, an iced elderflower gin and peach tea served in a cup and saucer, and The Bubble Popper, a mix of berry, No.3 Gin and Martini Fiero, crowned with a single smoked filled bubble.

Want to share? Meet with your bubble for The Grand Frappetière, a punchy recipe of Grey Goose Vodka with Baileys Irish Cream, shaken with salted caramel and freshly brewed espresso. Or be transported to the overgrown hedgerows of country gardens with Wishful Wisteria, a refreshing blend of Bombay Bramble Gin and St-Germain, served in an Instagrammable vintage wisteria tangled carrier.

Signature ‘Lost’ and ‘Found’ cocktails celebrate twists on forgotten classics such as a Popcorn Old Fashioned – served with a popcorn pouch, and the Rose & Lychee Martini, a blend of Bombay Sapphire Gin and Lanique Spirit of Rose, finished with lychee, apple, and a dash of lemon. For those who cannot decide what to try first, guests can enjoy two ‘Found’ tipples for £10 from Monday-Friday (3pm-8pm).

There is also a wide range of gins and spritzes, as well as a dedicated low and no-alcohol list including a Bakehouse Mocha and Garden Fruit Punch.

Quelling hunger, a new seasonal menu of crowd-pleasing dishes runs from crisp sourdough pizzas with enticing toppings including the beef ragu and Ibérico chorizo topped Festa Della Carne, to high-quality steaks straight from the Josper charcoal oven.

Catering to all, vegetarian and vegan dishes are aplenty with the likes of Melanzane al forno (chargrilled aubergine layered with fresh pasta) and Chipotle & Quinoa Chilli, while afternoons play host to quintessential British afternoon tea. Not to be forgotten, enjoy Brunch and Bubbles every Saturday, offering a menu of signature breakfast delights, alongside limitless prosecco, and Bloody Marys, or if dining with friends, an Aperol Spritz tree for the table.

The Lost & Found is renowned as a decadent drinking den, with hidden nooks, botanical décor, and creative cocktails – where better to let loose after lockdown?

The bar and restaurant reopened on Monday 17th May, with bookings available here.
