Three Manchester  based business have been shortlisted for the Love Energy Awards. The awards are UK wide and look to recognise the efforts businesses, large and small, go to in order to become more energy efficient.

The Manchester based businesses that have been shortlisted are as follows:
Bluebell Fitted Furniture Ltd – SME Saver Category (Based in Altringham)

Adactus Houssing Group – Super Saver Category (Based in the City Centre)

University of Salford – Star of the Future Category

Bolton Market, Wigan’s The Galleries Shopping Centre, Newlands Adventure Centre (Cumbria) and Lancashire based Landmark Environmetal are also shortlisted for various awards.  

Businesses of every shape and size, all over the UK entered the awards, letting us know how they were doing their part to promote energy efficiency in the work-place.

From installing LED lighting to implementing comprehensive CSR policies, from cardboard recycling to wood burners, the lengths nominees have been going to in order to save the environment (and money) has been frankly astounding.  

The winners are due to be announced w/c 13th July.
