LAUGHTERAMA, Manchester’s all-new comedy festival, lands in Castlefield Bowl next month from 21 – 25th September and with tickets selling fast the city shows it’s ready for a good time.
The five night festival is set to delight with shows starring Netflix star JAMES ACASTER, the Last Leg’s ROSIE JONES, British Comedy Award winner AISLING BEA, the legendary DYLAN MORAN, Taskmaster’s PHIL WANG, master of observation JOSH WIDDICOMBE plus many more of the absolute best names in the business.
Presenting comedy megastars alongside fast-rising new talents this brand new festival guarantees an unbeatable night out in the heart of the city. The unrivalled series of shows combines with a tastemaker selection across the bars and eats from local street-food marvels.
Further highlights include the inimitable DANIEL KITSON, Edinburgh Comedy Award winner ROSE MATAFEO, one-liner king MILTON JONES, lo-fi hero DAVID O’DOHERTY, the Mash Report’s NISH KUMAR, Mock The Week’s whipsmart wordsmith RHYS JAMES plus homegrown Manchester talent including STEPHEN BAILEY, JOSH JONES and HANNAH PLATT alongside future superstars FATIHA EL-GHORRI and HUGE DAVIES.

Manchester alongside CELYA AB who’s been branded the “comic shooting to fame”. The unflinchingly funny JAMALI MADDIX makes an appearance too as well as podcast and rollerskate aficionado LOU SANDERS not to mention the incredible TIM KEY riding high from his critically-lauded Fringe show.
The festival is a brand-new venture from the sibling team behind a series of successful comedy festivals running annually across London and the South.
For the last fifteen years Will Briggs and Cass Randolph have been delivering their signature blend of meticulous comedy programming in boutique-festival settings to sell-out crowds. The pair are now looking forward to arriving in Manchester.
Will says “We’ve been dreaming of bringing this festival to Manchester for a long time now, the city should absolutely have a stand-out event showcasing the wealth of comedy talent around at the moment. There’s a golden age for comedy right now, with so many platforms to enjoy amazing content.
