Manchester’s hottest new roller rink, Good Life Skates, is proud to announce its four-day regular programming every Thursday to Sunday, launching on Thursday 7th July.

Inspired by the new generation of roller skaters, from underground Berlin to the sidewalks of Brooklyn and LA, Good Life Skates has been a welcoming addition to the city of Manchester following its opening last month. The 8,000-square-foot roller rink is located on the mezzanine level of the inspiring urban venue Escape to Freight Island.

Opening four days a week, from Thursday to Sunday, Good Life Skates has curated a regular weekly programming. Kicking off on Thursdays with ‘The Big Rainbow Roll Out’ for an inclusive queer skate session from 8pm until 10pm. Followed by Rollin’ with the Homies on Fridays with a hip-hop and RnB night from 8pm until 10pm, and all the pop classics on Saturdays with Hits Radio for an all-day long pop anthems from 10am until 8pm, then a Stop, Pop & Roll for a fun sing-along from 8pm until 10pm. Finishing strong on Sundays with a Sunday Soul Skate from 2pm until 6pm and a 3-hour Skate Jam session for £5 from 6pm until 9pm.

In addition to the weekly programming, Good Life Skates will host a series of special events, including the return of Stranger Things Special on 15th – 17th July and a DJ set from the legendary Danielle Moore on 28thJuly, where she will be playing on the middle of the rink for skaters to jam and skate along to.

Perfect for individuals, groups, families and all – the new roller rink is the perfect hangout for all parties’ purposes. Good Life Skates promises more than just a memorable night out. The mezzanine level is available for exclusive hire. Private self-contained room adjacent to the roller-skating rink is also available with an array of packages ranging from the ultimate kids’ parties to fun groups’ day out for all ages.

Off peak hours are priced at £8.50 for an hour and £12 for a two-hour session. Peak hours are priced at £10 for an hour and £18 for a two-hour session. Bring Your Own Boots (BYOB) offers are priced at £7 for an hour and £12 for a two-hour session.

Good Life Skates opening hours are Thursday and Friday (from 4pm to 10pm), Saturday (from 10am to 10pm) and Sunday (from 10am to 9pm).
