King Charles III is leading a procession behind the Queen’s coffin as it is taken from the Palace of Holyroodhouse to the nearby St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh

The Queen’s coffin is draped with the Royal Standard in Scotland and dressed with a wreath of flowers consisting of white Spray Roses, white Freesias, white button chrysanthemums, dried white heather from Balmoral, spray eryngium, foliage, rosemary, hebe, and pittosporum

Princess Anne, King Charles III and Prince Andrew walk are walking side by side behind the hearse while a 21 gun salute has been firing from Edinburgh Castle.

There will be a service at the Cathedral and then mourners will be allowed to file past the late Queen’s coffin from around 5.30pm on Monday until 3pm on Tuesday.
