Before that King Charles III travels to Hillsborough and Belfast for the latest leg of his tour of the Kingdom

Thousands have been queuing through the night to see the Queen’s coffin at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh

At Hillsborough Castle, the King Mwill hold a private audience with the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and will meet with representatives from political parties.

He will also receive a Message of Condolence from The Speaker of The Northern Ireland Assembly on behalf of the people of Northern Ireland.

the king will then travel to Belfast for a memorial service in the Church of Ireland St Anne’s Cathedral. Prime Minister Liz Truss will attend along with the Stormont political leaders and the Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin,

The coffin of Queen Elizabeth II will depart Edinburgh for Buckingham Palace at 5.00pm where it will be flown to RAF Northolt before being taken in convoy to Buckingham Palace

As preparations continue for the funeral on Monday Downing Street said yesterday that people would be urged to observe a minute’s silence at 8 p.m. on Sunday night in a “national moment of reflection to mourn and reflect on the life and legacy” of the queen.

Some of the major shop chains, including supermarkets, have announced they will shut on Monday so staff can have a day off to commemorate the queen.
