and Jet2holidays has responded to the extra demand at Manchester Airport, by adding thousands of seats and holidays to the most popular winter sun hotspots.

The  leisure airline and package holiday specialist is adding an enormous 45,000 winter seats, meaning it now has over 575,000 seats on sale for its winter programme from Manchester Airport (+8.4% capacity increase).

The announcement will see and Jet2holidays put on more flights and holidays to a number of its most popular winter sun and city destinations, including: Alicante, Faro, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Malaga and Tenerife. The company will operate larger aircraft and more frequent weekly services to these popular destinations in response to increased demand.

The additional seats from Manchester Airport make up more than 100,000 extra winter seats that are going on sale today, with capacity also being added at Birmingham and Leeds Bradford in response to demand.
