Jet2 have today put an expanded programme on sale to Iceland from Manchester Airport for Winter 24/25, by extending the season to the bucket list destination.

The leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of city breaks to Europe have responded to strong demand for trips and holidays to Iceland and put more flights on sale next winter, at some of the best times to see the Northern Lights. As a result of the expansion, services are now available for the first time in December and from the end of January.

As well as offering customers and independent travel agents more choice and flexibility than ever before, the launch of the programme means holidaymakers can book ahead, as this is the earliest that Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have ever put their Iceland programme on sale.

The expanded programme will see the companies fly twice-weekly (Monday and Thursday) from Manchester Airport to Iceland from 3rd October to 9th December 2024, and from 30th January to 28th April 2025. All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik are operated by award-winning Jet2.com, and they are timed perfectly for customers wishing to experience the natural wonders of Iceland, such as the Northern Lights, as well as for the October half-term, and in the countdown to Christmas, as well as the February half-term and Easter holidays.

Thanks to its abundance of incredible sites, Iceland has continued to experience strong demand, with early and late Winter, as well as Spring, proving to be a particularly popular time for customers and independent travel agents. Whether it is the cityscape of Reykjavik, the spectacular Northern Lights, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls, Iceland offers an incredible variety of things for customers to experience and see.

Customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with Jet2.com, including 22kg hold luggage and transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik which provide the perfect base from which to explore and experience authentic Icelandic cuisine. In addition, a choice of excursions are also available to purchase including those to the South Shore, Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon.
