Pamela DeMenthe is hosting the launch of her hot new novel: ‘eVULVAlution’. What begins as a book launch reading quickly descends into a surreal and sexy journey through time, complete with a Neanderthal orgy, a mobility scooter chase and a shocking fatality.
But when the story takes an unexpected turn Pamela turns to the audience to help find the climax. This solo character comedy delivers an hilarious book launch parody with a swashbuckling choose-your-own-adventure, time-travelling twist. Fifty Shades of Grey meets Planet of the Apes!
Show creator Jenny May Morgan is an exceptional character comedian, skilled storyteller and regular performer on the UK comedy and theatre scene. With her alter-ego, Pamela DeMenthe, she delivers a unique blend of comedy with a committed performance full of surrealist imagery and a detailed observational parody.
‘eVULVAlution’ was developed with The Arts Council England and The Lowry Theatre (UK) as part of their artist development program and premiered there in April 2019 (*****Quays Life mag).
