Forever Manchester is proud to announce a brilliant new collection of artwork and products by multi award-winning cartoonist, Tony Husband. Tony has designed a collection of football-themed cartoons exclusively for Forever Manchester, to coincide with the new 2019/2020 football season.
It’s in the Blood: Red or Blue will celebrate Manchester as a football city and will focus on Manchester City and Manchester United.
To launch this unique collection, an exhibition will take place on Thursday 12 September at The Albert Square Chophouse, where Tony’s cartoons will be on display from 6.30pm until 10pm.
There will be a welcome drink on arrival and a chance to view Tony’s exhibition along with the football cartoon merchandise ~ all of which will be available for sale. Admission will be free for the exhibition/launch night, with everyone welcome.
The artwork will be transformed into greetings cards, coasters, mugs, t-shirts and postcards, which will all be available after the launch from the Forever Manchester Shop the proceeds from each of Tony’s cartoon designs will go directly to the charity, to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester. To coincide with the Forever Manchester football cartoon collection, there will be an in-conversation event taking place upstairs at the Albert Square Chophouse in the Memorial Hall, with former football players and other special guests, as well as Tony himself.
