MyMemory, a leading online retailer specialising in memory and electronic goods, has looked back over the past two decades and found some rather interesting facts about how technology has changed since the millennium.
For example, did you know a 6MB image would have taken around 15 minutes to download to your computer on dial-up internet back in the year 2000, but today the same file would take only 2 seconds? Or that 20 years ago, only 45% of households had a mobile phone, yet today that figure has more than doubled?
