With two hotly anticipated Royal Weddings taking place and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding quickly becoming a strong contender for the Celebrity Wedding of the year, 2018 was evidently a year for love. Gracing us with breath-taking gowns, jaw-dropping veils and exquisitely-tailored suits.

Ahead of the new wedding season, Bride: The Wedding Show, which is returning to Tatton park this February for its 17th edition, has pulled together some of the most up and coming trends that’s set to take 2019 by storm.

According to Pantone, Living Coral is the colour for 2019! An animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. Whether it’s a touch of coral for the cakes, flowers or the bridesmaid dresses, it’s a perfect tone for any spring / summer wedding.

Simple and chic is this years must-do. More and more couples are opting for classic stripped back or white décor with embellishments of bold colours throughout.

With the openings of many new venues across the UK offering experiential space for a multitude of different event styles, industrial spaces are the must-do for 2019, with rustic finishes still being one of the top choices for dressing.

What’s more, carrying on a strong contender from 2018 is bold outdoor spaces dressed with exquisite boho-inspired tipis with nature-inspired dressing. Staying hopeful there will be a repeat of 2018’s incredible summer it’s no surprise many couples are opting to go outdoors for 2019.

With Instagram hitting its 1 billion user mark last year, ensuring your wedding is ‘instagrammable’ is just as important as choosing the perfect dress. This season will see an array of fancy ice containing beautiful themed flowers, dessert rooms, supper-club style long table banquets, flower walls and visually aesthetic guest entertainment.

Bride: The Wedding Show is set to return to Tatton Park in February for the show’s 17th edition – and looks forward to welcoming brides-to-be and their guests for an unforgettable weekend of wedding planning.
