The Hare & Hound, a local pub based in Hyde, reopened recently following a six-figure investment that has completely rejuvenated the site.
The popular rural spot, which is part of the Chef and Brewer Collection of country pubs, had been closed for several weeks whilst undergoing the transformation which has modernised the site both inside and out.
The garden terrace, which boasts picturesque views, has been expanded to include a new outside bar area, as well as a heated pergola, providing a premium al fresco dining offering to be enjoyed all year round.
Inside, the pub has had a complete makeover to provide a warm and welcoming setting for guests with new furniture, furnishings and fittings throughout. The Hare & Hounds is also dog-friendly, meaning guests can come and enjoy some well-earned pub grub and a cold pint after walking their furry friends.
The pub’s re-opening comes just in time for the launch of their new spring menu which includes a varied selection of daily specials and a broad choice of alcoholic drinks, cocktails and soft drinks.
With an unrivalled skyline view of Manchester, and a great location close to Etherow Country Park, the pub offers something for everyone from tourists and families, to commuters and ramblers.
