Pret A Manger is spreading feel good spirit this Friday afternoon by kicking off customers’ weekends with free cookies. The Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie will be handed out by Team Members for free from 3pm to 4pm (or until stocks last), on Friday 16th August, at Pret and Veggie Pret shops nationwide.
Pret’s Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie combines vegan dark chocolate with almond butter and a little sea salt to make a rich, gooey sweet treat. Since it was first introduced to the menu in spring 2018, the cookie has become one of Pret’s best-selling sweet treats, and attracted a legion of super-fans, particularly amongst the vegan community, on social media.
Hannah Dolan, Global Head of Food Innovation at Pret, said, “We know our Dark Chocolate & Almond Butter Cookie is one of our customers’ favourites – we’ve had hundreds of messages from vegans and non-vegans alike, telling us how much they love it.
“Enjoy it on us this Friday afternoon. It’s delicious when paired with a cup of our organic coffee or English Breakfast Tea!”
To claim their freebie, customers should head to a participating Pret shop and quote the password to a team member behind the counter. The password is BAKE MY DAY
This isn’t the first time Pret has treated customers, the company has become known for its ‘random acts of kindness’ and surprising customers with free ice coffees during ‘Friday Freeze’ giveaways.
