As the region was battered by thunder storms and torrential rain, a house has partially collapsed in Chorlton.

Reports say the roof caved in and then the left side of the house collapsed onto the house next door.

The house, a three storey building, was understood to be unoccupied

It came as numerous flash floods were reported as torrential rain fell.
