Hop aboard the East Lancashire Railway this Easter half-term for a host of family friendly adventure days!

There’s lots to keep the little ones entertained this Easter at the railway with a new children’s adventure day featuring a brilliant bunny. Much loved favourites will also be returning including a magical wizarding adventure and a step back in time to discover dinosaurs.

Peter Rabbit™ Family Fun Day

The mischievous bob-tailed bunny, Peter Rabbit™ will be visiting Bury Transport Museum this Easter.

The museum will be jam-packed with theme park rides, face painters and craft activities where you’ll get the chance to meet Peter Rabbit™ throughout the day.

Complete the family fun day with a ride through the picturesque Irwell Valley on a real heritage steam or diesel train.

Peter Rabbit™ Family Fun Day takes place on 9th-10th April.

The Wizarding Adventure

Learn how to become a master of mystery and magic during an interactive whistle stop tour of the Wizard Academy.

Become a wonderful wizard as you take lessons in the basics of broomsticks, practice your potion making, be instructed in incantations and learn to tattle and talk with a tawny owl.

This two hour adventure includes a round trip on a real heritage steam train with plenty of photo opportunities.

The Wizarding Adventure takes place on the 6th & 13th April.

The Dino Adventure

Jump aboard a time travelling steam train and join intrepid explorers on a Jurassic adventure as you earn a dino diploma.

Get up close and personal with baby dinosaurs as you learn all about them from expert rex wranglers and triceratops tamers during the fully interactive and educational experience.

This two hour adventure includes dinosaur themed activities and a round trip on a real heritage steam train with plenty of photo opportunities.

The Dino Adventure takes place on the 7th April.
