GRUB’s annual celebration of East & South East Asian street food, desserts and drinks is making a return for 2023 at their Green Quarter venue.

Five of the city’s very best East Asian street food traders will be cooking up a storm all weekend long. Dishes will include Korean fried chicken from Korean Grub Club, Okonomiyaki from Osaka Local, fusion spring rolls from Phat Rollz, amazing dumplings from Wong Dumplings and more.

Accompanying the smashing food and drink will be a screening of the Chinese documentary ‘Golden Gate Girl’ in GRUB’s 100 seater cinema Cultplex. This film takes you on a journey through the life and times of China’s first female film director and is brought to Manchester by Sine Screen and ScousESEA as part of their ‘Whose Homeland’ extended program. This event promises to be an unforgettable experience.

This Asian celebration will take place from 5pm on Friday 31st March to 6pm on Sunday 2nd April. As per GRUB’s usual tradition, all food will be completely plant powered on the Sunday of the event.

Entry for food and drink is completely free but GRUB’s themed food fairs are always very well attended, and it is recommended that large groups book a table via the GRUB website. Tickets for the screening of Golden Gate Girl are available through the CULTPLEX website.

GRUB is located at 50 Red Bank, Manchester, M4 4HF
