Greater Manchester’s Mayor condemned the antisemitic terror attack and urged the public to show solidarity with the Jewish community.
In a joint press conference the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood said that “The Government has stepped up security at all synagogues across the country”
Burnham thanked the emergency services that helped during the terror attack, calling it an “exemplary blue light response” and added that “we will never let acts that are designed to cause hatred, division, violence, to succeed”
“That’s our message tonight: do not let them succeed”
