Reform UK candidate Matt Goodwin has challenged the Green candidate Hannah Spencer to a one-on-one debate about the future of Gorton & Denton
In a statement posted on X Goodwin said that he very much enjoyed debating the key issues facing Gorton & Denton with her at the BBC hustings today.

The Greens have turned down the request with Spencer replying that she would focus her time ‘knocking on doors’ and speaking to residents of the constituency and saying the two have already debated twice in public hustings
