Following operating a successful delivery only service during the lockdown, Gooey Bakehouse, serving NYC inspired cookies + doughnuts, has announced it will permanently set-up shop in the kiosk at the entrance of Ducie Street Warehouse.
Launching on Saturday 18th July, Gooey will be situated at the entrance of Ducie Street Warehouse, once again serving the Northern Quarter with its iconic sweet goods, baked fresh on-site daily – as well as acting as a collection point for online pre-orders.
Gooey has seen unprecedented growth since beginning operations in March of this year, the brainchild of Jake Ansbro and Patrick Brown of EATMCR and Sax Arshad of The Zanna Group, led by the head baker, Lewis Loughman, formerly PBK and Takk.
As well as the Gooey Shop in the entrance to Ducie Street Warehouse, Gooey cookies will be served at ‘Counter’, the coffee shop & bar situated on the ground floor of Ducie Street Warehouse, available to those working from the lounge, staying in the aparthotel, or using meeting and event spaces & bar area. Customers can also enjoy a Gooey cookie or doughnut with a coffee inside Ducie Street Warehouse or on the new outdoor seating areas.
Local boutique flower shop Northern Flower will be displaying one-off unique plants at the Gooey space, which customers can purchase to take home at their wish.

As well as a permanent home, Gooey will continue to operate its successful delivery and collection service. The Gooey delivery days will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Collections to be made from Ducie Street Warehouse.Â
Gooey will launch at Ducie Street Warehouse on Saturday 18th July – open from Wednesday – Sunday from 09:30 until sell-out.
