Ramsbottom’s tenth annual chocolate festival takes place this weekend.

This year features a wide range of traders including your traditional chocolate bar and chocolate gift markers through to the quirkier traders such as the Ice Alchemists who roll amazing chocolate and icecream on a ice pad right in front of you.

Many of the favourite and regular traders are returning along with some newbies.

The Market is bursting with Chocolate, Chocolate Wine, Chocolate Cheese, Chocolate Brownies, Chocolate bath products, Chocolate Cakes, Chocolate Truffles, Chocolate Cookies, Chocolate Ice Cream, Chocolate Liquers, Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Marshmallows, Chocolate Scones, Chocolate Flapjacks, Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Puddings… You get the drift! It is a chocoholics dream come true!

We also have a wide range of hot street food with gourmet burgers, noodles, yorkshire pudding wraps, toasties, drinks wise you can visit the Gin Truck from Molly the Gin Meister, a Prosescco Wagon or Hot Chocolate Liquers.

Fancy something hot and sweet… There are Dutch Pancakes, Belgian Waffles, Crepes, and a Nutella Donut Wagon.  The Saturday car park site will be bustling with street food and drinks along with entertainment.

There are also rides and entertainment in Town including Lancashire Hawks and Owls, the Dog’s Trust and the RSPB.

There is also an Easter Rock Hunt in partnership with Rammy Rocks as well as a gin Truck in Town Molly the Gin Meister and a Prosecco Truck too.

The festival is taking over the Town Centre so you will not only find stalls on the original site of Bridge Street but also at Market Place, Inside the Civic Hall, Bridge Street, Church Gardens and on the Saturday Market Car Parks.

24th  and 25th March  The outdoor festival opens at 9:30am and closes at 5:00pm Saturday and 4:00pm on Sunday.  The indoor food and craft Market inside the Civic Hall is open from 9:30am to 2:30pm.
