The DJ duo, who hail from Sweden, will be visiting Manchester as a part of their ‘The Aviary EU Tour’. The show in Manchester will be held at the Victoria Warehouse and will take place on the 17th February 2018.

Consisting of Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklow Galantis are best known for tracks such as – Runaway (U & I) and Peanut Butter Jelly, both songs are on the duo’s first studio album ‘Pharmacy’.

The tour is to celebrate the pair’s second studio album, named ‘The Aviary’. The album reached number one in the dance charts of 18 countries. It also came in the top five in 25 countries and the top ten in a further 24. The lead single from the album, No Money, peaked at number four in the UK singles chart and number two on the UK dance charts.

Galantis are popular with streaming services and have so far received over 1.2 billion listens on Spotify. The new album has achieved 680 million of those listens so far.

Karlsson’s success is not limited to his work with Galantis. The musician found success when he co-wrote and co-produced songs with the likes of – Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez, Kylie Minogue and Madonna. Karlsson received a Grammy and Ivor Novello Award in 2005 for his contribution on Britney Spears’ smash hit Toxic.

The group, who play 200 shows a year worldwide, have took their energetic live show to some of 2017 biggest music events. The famous dance-pop duo played Coachella, V Festival and Creamfields this year. They offer a unique performance which also features great visuals that really add to the experience.

“We’re really proud to give people a different experience. We want to be creative onstage and bring that flow of being in the moment that we have when we are in the studio,” (Galantis)

Galantis have recently released their latest music video for  Tell Me You Love Me off ‘The Avairy’. The track also features Throttle. The upbeat video features dancers in three different country highlighting the universal nature of the groups music. Galantis will release a remix bundle of the track on 15th December.

Speaking on the new track the Swedish DJ’s said, “Tell Me You Love Me is continuing what we started with Peanut Butter Jelly and Love On Me. The trilogy ends with ‘Tell Me You Love Me’. It’s a full-on, Motown-sprinkled, Jackson 5 banger.”
