It’s a case of all paws on deck this weekend as Dogs Trust Manchester brings its summer fun day to Burrs Country Park in Bury on Sunday (7 July).

There will be fun and games for all the family and their canine companions including competitions like Waggiest Tail, Scruffiest Companion, Best Paw Shaker and Perkiest Puppy along with games such as Best Party Trick, Catch the Treat and also Have-A-Go Agility. There will be lots for families and children to enjoy too as well as raffles and tombolas, stalls including gifts for two and four-legged friends, food stalls and a Tea Tent with homemade cakes.

Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer and organiser of the event, says:

“This is the first time we have held our fun day at Burrs Country Park so we are really excited and hope the dog lovers of Bury come and support us and have a great day out. We look after at least 80 dogs every day of the year at Dogs Trust Manchester and every penny raised on the day will make sure they can have everything they need whilst they are with us waiting for their forever homes.”

The Fun Day will take place at Burrs Country Park on Woodhill Road, Bury, from 11am-4pm on Sunday 7 July. Entry is £3 adults, under 16s – and dogs – go free.
