Red Arch has announced it will officially celebrate its opening year in the city on Saturday 25th July with an all-day party filled with community-led music, fashion collaborations and BBQ food.
Set inside the iconic hole-in-the-wall on Manchester’s Red Bank, Red Arch has been transformed into a welcoming social bar and events space with both indoor and outdoor areas, centred around good music, thoughtfully curated events and the local community.
Running from 3PM until late, the summer party welcomes Manchester to celebrate the new space, which owners Amira and Pete have been gradually introducing since January 2026.
Alongside £5 Margs all day, the event will see performances from a mix of Red Arch’s favourite artists such as DJs Adrian Salcedo and LIZ-ZIE, with live singers still to be announced. Poets Jenny Pilkington, 6fa Maisie will also be performing.
The day also marks the launch of Stone Thro’s “You Rock” T-shirt. The project centres on recognising and celebrating the people around you, promoting a message of kindness and positivity. Local radio host, producer and designer Sim Sais will also be hosting a sustainable fashion stall, showcasing her own handmade designs.
Independent food vendor HOTBOX will be serving a Caribbean barbecue menu straight from the outdoor grill, featuring juicy jerk prawns, wings, boneless thighs, vegan options like chickpea curry, dumplings and more.
With a sincere passion for all things community and events, owners Amira and Pete are truly excited to commemorate the opening of Red Arch this summer. After 10 years in the events industry and their own dream wedding in 2025, the pair wanted to create a space to bring people together, foster good community vibes, and be the perfect setting for celebrations.
This August will also see Red Arch’s very first wedding, the launch of a tiny beer garden, second hand book shop tucked away in a shipping container.
