The Black Friar is teaming up with Manchester comedy institution Frog and Bucket for a special outdoor comedy night on Thursday 2nd July, transforming its beer garden into an open air comedy venue as part of its ‘Summer of Boddies’ celebrations.
The evening will feature performances from a line up of acclaimed stand ups including, MC Faizan Shah, Garrett Millbrick, Jacob Nussey and Bethany Black in the pub’s tavern and outdoor space – complete with a dedicated bar serving cold drinks throughout the evening.
The event forms part of The Summer of Boddies, a season-long celebration marking the return of Boddingtons Cask to The Black Friar, the oldest remaining Boddingtons pub in the world.
Combining live comedy, a beer garden and a few cold pints, it’s an ideal option for anyone looking to make the most of the summer evenings.
