Dreading the World Cup due to a football mad partner? You’ll be just as excited as devoted fans this weekend, thanks to Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester’s special offer, giving solo parents free entry, while their other halves enjoy the match.

The exclusive deal will see football widows and widowers offered free entry to the popular Barton Square attraction, when visiting between kick-off and the final whistle of Sunday’s England match against Panama at 13:00.

What’s more, parents will be greeted with a free coffee, and kids participating in a Master Model Build workshop will receive their creation for free – with builds usually priced at £4.

Jenn McDonough, General Manager Manchester Cluster, says: ‘We know that not everyone is a football fan, and it can be frustrating when your partner won’t miss a game when you’d rather watch paint dry!

“That’s why we’re launching our Word Cup offer – to keep you and your little ones entertained, for less, during the match – back of the net!”

The much-loved family attraction has long been inspiring little ones through purposeful play, recently launching its new feature ‘Space Mission’ – an intergalactic experience providing budding space stars with the opportunity to build their own Lego rockets, and explore weird and wonderful alien landscapes, before taking command at Lego mission control base.
