Freaky Friday will be having its UK stage premiere this festive season at HOME Manchester, with the run already extending until 10 January 2026.

Bringing the body-swapping, mother-daughter duo to life on the stage are Rebecca Lock (Here and Now; Heathers The Musical) as Katherine, and Jena Pandya as Ellie (Come Fall In Love; Bhangra Nation).

Leads Rebecca Lock (Katherine) and Jena Pandaya (Ellie) are both returning to Manchester for the festive season following their recent, critically acclaimed performances at venues in the city.

Rebecca Lock played the lead role of Caz in Here and Now The Steps Musical at the Opera House last month, whilst Jena Pandaya played Simran in Come Fall in Love in the same venue in June.

Manchester based George Strickland is the musical director for the show. A former student of the Royal Northern College of Music, George has worked on the World Premiere of The Book Thief at Bolton Octogon and performed or worked at many other Manchester venues including The Lowry, Bridgewater Hall, and The Stoller Hall.
