Select Property’s latest development, One Port Street, will be its most ambitious to date. Located in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, the luxury residential tower will set a new standard with standout architecture, a private residents’ lounge, rooftop terrace with panoramic views, and a spa-style fitness suite.

Completion is scheduled for February 2026 and its 32 storey’s will feature 477 open-plan one,two and three bed apartments as well as an underground 2000 sq ft swimming pool, spa pool and an urban garden – contributing to the development’s 22,000 sq feet of public green space.

Residents will have an array of high specification indoor and outdoor working and socialising spaces to choose from, including a stunning arrival experience with 360° firepit, state-of-the-art gym and yoga studios and beautifully designed co-working spaces.

The seventh floor will see Paganini’s resident lounge and  external terrace (named after a tavern which stood on Port Street 200 years prior), will offer stunning city views and private hire options, including a secret room with hidden door ‘The Hideout’, available exclusively for residents.

Each apartment features the highest-quality materials and an excellent standard of craftsmanship throughout. Thoughtful design details including eye-catching glass balcony balustrades, with intricate patterns inspired by textile patterns from Whitworth Art Gallery, in a connection to the region’s industrial past.

Nik Bremner, the Director of Select Residential told us that the Northern Quarter has been an area of the City that they have had designs on developing and had been very much waiting for the right site to come up

We are strategically located between the Northern Quarter and Ancoats, enhanced by the announcement that the Government is locating their Digital Agency just across the road, housing 7,000 jobs

He described One Port Street as their flagship development, launching their Prestige collection bringing together three big names in construction

Bremner went on to emphaise the development includes a public realm element recognising that bringing such a large development into Manchester’s Northern Quarter will create concerns over what is being given back to the community

All together the site has 22,000 square feet of outdoor space for residents and the wider public which is over fifty per cent of the overall area.Part of the outdoor realm will be a children’s play area

Ian Simpson, Founder Partner, SimpsonHaugh comments;

“One Port Street embodies the rich architectural diversity of Manchester. This development offers more than just a place to live, work, and socialise – it’s a sanctuary within the city’s most creative and lively neighbourhood. It’s a true example of what a sustainable, modern community should be.”
