Greater Manchester firefighters are assisting those in Derbyshire tackling a moorland fire near Tintwhistle
The fire which currently covers around 40 acres broke out around 10pm last night
Residents nearby are being asked to keep windows and doors closed.
The A628 WoodheadPass is closed in both directions between A57 Woolley Bridge and A616 Stocksbridge due to the fire.
