Firefighters have been tackling a blaze overnight on Broughton Street in Cheetham Hill
The fire broke out just around midnight opposite Manchester Fort
Due to low lying smoke passing north in the Cheetham Hill area residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed and to avoid the area.
Road closures are in place for Broughton Street and Bent Street
