Around 50 firefighters have been dealing with the latest moorland fire outbreak at Grains Road, Delph.

The fire broke out around 9.00 pm and seven fire engines and two wildfire units are at the scene and crews are working hard to bring the fire, which currently measures 200m x 500m, under control.

All fire fronts have been extinguished and firefighters are dealing with hotspots in the area.

The air unit is also in use and firefighters will remain at the scene throughout the night.

The public are being told to stay away from the area
